Utilizing PathHunter™ technology, DiscoveRx has found a new approach to studying receptor tyrosine kinases in a cellular context. Unlike biochemical assays that commonly use a truncated version of the receptor, PathHunter™ Cell-Based Kinase assays utilize wild type, full length proteins which allow all steps in receptor activation be monitored. This whole cell assay platform is ideal for identifying novel receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitors, allosteric modulators or antibody therapeutics.
